The Pierides Museum - Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation can be described as one of the most important museums in Cyprus, since its archaeological collection is the most important and characteristic presentation of Cypriot culture through the centuries. The archaeological collection, housed in a colonial-style mansion of 1815 in Larnaca, is considered one of the most important private collections in Cyprus and covers the major periods of Cypriot prehistory and history.
