Carob Museums

The Harupi Museum is located in the village of Anogyra, between Limassol and Paphos, and is surrounded by carvings with carob trees. The "black gold" of the island, called the carob tree, is an important part of the village's tradition. In Anogyra there are three Museums associated with carob and the pastel. In two of these, "Traditional" and "Black Gold", you can also visit the nearby workshops and watch step by step the traditional process of making the paste.
